Foot Health TreatmentsChiropody and Podiatry treatments can help to keep you on your feet, by dealing with any problem areas - including corns, calluses, nail problems or foot/ankle dysfunction. If you have diabetes, an annual foot check should be performed. If your GP or nurse is not already performing this, you can come along to Absolute Health for your check-up. We will send a report to your GP to keep them informed. We offer biomechanical (gait) assessment and will prescribe orthotics or insoles to improve foot function. When your feet are not transmitting your weight to the ground properly, this can cause problems higher up the body - in the knees, hips or lower back. Orthotics can be placed in your footwear to correct these imbalances and reduce problems elsewhere. Basic foot health treatments can be offered during patient 'home visits'. If you live within 3 miles of the clinic and are house-bound, then we can help with nail cutting and addressing basic foot health issues that are troubling you. Our clinic is located 5 minutes from junction 21 of the M1 (Fosse Park), at the junction of Edward Avenue and Turnbull Drive; these roads are accessed from the west service road of Narborough Road South.
Parking is available outside the clinic.
